Applications are invited from Community Groups, Tidy Towns/Village Committees, Residents Associations, Schools and other organisations, who are engaged in or intending to engage in community based environmental works or anti-litter initiatives in their localities. Works should not take place on private property and must be of benefit to the wider community.
Closing date for receipt of completed applications for the following schemes is 5.00p.m. on Friday, 5th June, 2015

Community Action Grant
This range of grants will assist projects through which organisations aim to make a positive contribution to the local community, foster shared responsibility, community awareness and encourage more people to participate in the development of their community.
The grant will assist local Tidy Towns groups to undertake improvement works for the purpose of enhancing the local environment of their town or village and participation in the National Tidy Towns competition.
This grant will assist Local Cemetery Committees/Groups in delivering specific projects which maintain and enhance specific local graveyards in the County.
Meath County Council recognises the contribution that Festivals and Events make to the lives of the people of the county and the economic benefits in terms of increased activity.
Meath County Council is pleased to announce a ‘Streetscape Paint Scheme’ whereby a fund has been allocated to assist with the cost of painting the front façade of key buildings in streets in towns/villages in County Meath subject to terms and conditions of the Scheme.
